What sets autumn apart from other seasons is the special quality of light and while not all the images here are taken during the autumn season, they are distinctive in terms of the light. "Golden Hour" is a magical time later in the day that artists are familiar with because of its warm colour and soft quality and the lower angle that tends to highlight the details of a subject in a very special way.
